Concurrent resolution authorizing the Joint Committee on Arrangements for Commemoration of the Bicentennial to use the U.S. Capitol Building for a Bicentennial reception for Members of Congress, other Government officials, the diplomatic corps, and members of the public.

Authorizes the Joint Committee on Arrangements for Commemoration of the Bicentennial to use the Capitol Building for a Bicentennial reception to be held September 15. Authorizes the expenditure of $15,000 from the contingent fund of the Senate by the Joint Committee for such purpose.
