Expresses the sense of the Congress that new efforts should be made by the Government of the United States through appropriate diplomatic and international channels to persuade the Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, the Provisional Revolutionary Government of Vietnam, and the Lao Patriotic Front to comply with their obligations with respect to personnel captured or killed during the Vietnam conflict and with respect to personnel still in a missing status.
States that the Congress declares its support and sympathy for the families and loved ones of the Americans missing in action, who have suffered such deep human anguish for so long due to the undisclosed fate of the missing in action.
