Declares that the International Olympic Committee be advised that the Congress of the United States would welcome the holding of the 1980 Winter Olympic Games at Lake Placid in the Town of North Elba, County of Essex and State of New York, the site so designated by the United States Olympic Committee.
Expresses the hope of the Congress of the United States that the United States will be selected as the site for the 1980 Winter Olympic Games, and pledges its cooperation and support in their successful fulfillment in the highest sense of the Olympic tradition.
