Provides that no information with respect to any drug shall be given orally to any licensed practitioner or pharmacist by any employee or person representing a drug firm unless immediately prior to the time such oral information is given a copy of a document is approved by the Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare relating to such drug and containing such information about such drug as the Secretary may by regulation require.
Provides that all drug advertisements must be approved by the Secretary under specified guidelines. Provides that all published articles intended for health professionals dealing with drugs shall under specified regulations identify the person or persons who provided financial support to the author for his writing or research.
