A bill to provide for a mandatory life sentence in certain cases involving the unlawful distribution of certain narcotic drugs.

Provides for a mandatory life imprisonment sentence for any person unlawfully distributing narcotic drugs classified as a controlled substance.

Permits the court on the basis of a determination made by the United States Attorney on the basis of other available information to sentence such person to imprisonment for a term of not more than 20 years when such person has been cooperative in disclosing information concerning the source of the narcotic drug involved in the violation.

Prohibits any person indicted for such violation from pleading guilty to a lesser offense in lieu of the violation upon which he was indicted.

Authorizes the Attorney General, in his discretion, to pay an amount not in excess of $30,000 for information concerning the unlawful distribution of controlled substances.
