A bill to direct the Secretary of Transportation to make a comprehensive study of a high-speed ground transportation system between Washington, District of Columbia, and Annapolis, Maryland, and a high-speed marine vessel transportation system between the Baltimore-Annapolis area in Maryland and the Yorktown-Williamsburg-Norfolk area in Virginia, and to authorize the construction of such system if such study demonstrates their feasibility.
Bicentennial Advanced Technology Transportation System Demonstration Act - Directs the Secretary of Transportation to make a comprehensive study of a high-speed ground transportation system between Washington, District of Columbia, and Annapolis, Maryland, and a high-speed marine vessel transportation system between the Baltimore-Annapolis area in Maryland and the Yorktown-Williamsburg-Norfolk area in Virginia. Authorizes the construction of such system if such study demonstrates their feasibility. Authorizes appropriations of not to exceed $300,000 to carry out the provisions of this Act.
