Authorizes the Federal Communications Commission to require that radios, shipped in interstate commerce or imported for sale or resale to the public, be capable of receiving both AM and FM broadcasts.
Provides that this authority shall not extend to apparatus designed to receive only amptitude modulated (AM) or frequency modulated (FM) broadcasts and retailing for less than fifteen dollars.
