A bill to provide for the establishment of regional centers for the performing arts.
National Program for the Performing Arts Act - Authorizes the Secretary of the Interior to provide for the establishment of regional centers for the performing arts. Provides that the programming of performances at each such center shall be the responsibility of State, local, and private individuals and institutions in cooperation with the Advisory Committee established for the center pursuant to this Act.
Authorizes to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act.
