A bill to provide for a study and investigation to assess the extent of the damage done to the environment of South Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia as the result of the operations of the Armed Forces of the United States in such countries.
Vietnam War Ecological Damage Assessment Act - Provides for a study and investigation by the National Academy of Sciences to assess the extent of the damage done to the environment of South Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia as the result of the operations of the Armed Forces of the United States in such countries, and to consider plans for the effective restoration of such areas.
Requires the Academy to submit a final report to the President and the Congress containing the results of such study. States that such report is due not later than six months after the enactment of this Act.
