A bill to provide for a First American Museum within the Smithsonian Institution.
First Americans Museum Act - Establishes in the Smithsonian Institution a museum to be known as the First American Museum, containing objects from the North American Indian cultures. Establishes a First Americans Museum Committee, subject to the general supervision of the Board of Regents of the Smithsonian Institution.
Locates such museum in facilities to be built on the unoccupied land next to the Air and Space Museum.
Authorizes the appropriation of necessary sums to carry out this Act.
