A bill to reorganize the Department of Justice, to require nonpartisan appointments to policymaking positions in such Department.
Justice Department Reform Act - Prohibits any individual who held a position of trust and responsibility to an individual who was elected President or to an organization working on such individual's campaign or who was employed by a political party to campaign for an individual who was elected to the office of President from serving in appointive office in the Justice Department.
Makes the Attorney General responsible for appointment and removal of United States attorneys.
