Travel Expense Amendments Act - Increases the per diem allowance of Federal employees traveling on official business within the continental United States. Increases the reimbursement for necessary travel expenses incurred by use of a privately owned automobile.
Directs the Administrator of General Services to conduct periodic investigations on the actual cost to Federal employees for the use of privately-owned vehicles. Requires the reporting at least annually of results under this Act.
Provides per diem and mileage allowances for Senate staff members on official business.
