(LATEST SUMMARY)

Entitles to retired pay for non-regular service in the armed forces those persons who were Reserves before August 16, 1945, or a member of the Army without a component if such person performs: (1) active duty after April 5, 1917, and before November 12, 1918, or after September 8, 1940, and before January 1, 1947; (2) active duty (other than for training) after June 26, 1950, and July 28, 1953, after August 13, 1961, and before May 31, 1963, or after August 4, 1964, and before March 28, 1973; or (3) at least twenty years of service after August 15, 1945.
