Authorizes the appropriation of not in excess of $3,331,000 prior to June 30, 1976, and not in excess of $100,000 for fiscal year 1977 to carry out the provisions of the International Economic Policy Act of 1972.
Establishes the Economic Monitoring Council, consisting of the Secretary of the Treasury, the Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors, and the Director of the Office of Managment and Budget. Provides that it shall be the function of the Council to monitor the economy as a whole.
Provides that, notwithstanding the expiration of the Economic Stabilization Act of 1970, any commitment made or given with respect to decontrol under the Economic Stabilization Act prior to May 1, 1974, shall continue in full force and effect.
Authorizes the appropriation of not in excess of $1,000,000 to carry out the provisions of this Act.
Allows the President to determine what information obtained under this Act must be disclosed to the public.
