Authorizes the Secretary of Transportation, along the route of the high-speed ground transportation demonstration between Washington, D.C. and Boston, Massachusetts, to permit selected individual public crossings of unusually low potential hazard to remain at ground level, if they are provided with the best available protection.
Makes provisions for appropriate treatment for private crossings when used by the public. (Amends 23 U.S.C. 322 (a))
