Requires that any person who is a candidate for election to Federal office to file with the Comptroller General a copy of his Federal income tax return for the six taxable years immediately preceding the year in which such election is held. States that candidates for election to the House of Representatives or to the Senate shall furnish to the press gallery fifty copies of each return filed by him with the Comptroller General.
Penalizes violation's of this Act by a fine of up to $1,000, imprisonment for not more than one year, or both.
