A bill to amend the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act of 1966 to prohibit the removal or rendering inoperative of safety related equipment in compliance with motor vehicle safety standards.

Safety Device Modification Admendment - Provides, under the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act, that no manufacturer, distributor, dealer, motor vehicle repair establishment, or individual shall knowingly remove or render inoperative any device incorporated into any product in compliance motor vehicle safety standards.
