A bill to amend chapter 5 of title 37, United States Code, to revise the special pay structure relating to certain members of the uniformed services.
Uniformed Services Medical Special Pay Act - Provides that specified medical and dental officers of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Public Health Service shall be entitled to special pay for active duty.
Provides for continuation pay for physicians and dentists of the Public Health Service who extend their service on active duty. Provides special pay for officers of the Armed Forces in health professions who execute active-duty agreements.
States that, under regulations prescribed by the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary concerned, or his designee, may terminate, at any time, an officer's entitlement to the special pay authorized by this Act.
