Housing Opportunities for the Handicapped Act - Authorizes the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare to make grants to eligible sponsors to carry out a demonstration program to provide housing and coordination of existing supportive services for severly handicapped adults.
Defines those terms applicable to this act and determines those persons who are considered eligible for benefits under this Act.
Requires the Secretary to report to Congress not later than March 1 of each year or his activities under this Act.
Authorizes to be appropriated $1,000,000 for fiscal year 1974, $1,500,000 for fiscal year 1975, and $2,000,000 for fiscal year 1976 to carry out the provisions of this Act.
