A bill to amend the Act protecting the fishery resources of the Continental Shelf of the United States in order to include the American lobster in such resources.
Lobster Conservation and Control Act - States that it is the purpose of this Act to provide for effective control of lobster fisheries on the Continental Shelf of the United States until such time as the United States can enter into an appropriate treaty or treaties providing for such control.
Includes lobster as a Continental Shelf fishery resource within the meaning of the Act entitled an Act to prohibit fishing in the territorial waters of the United States and in certain other areas by vessels other than vessels of the United States and by persons in charge of such vessels. (Amends 16 U.S.C. 1085(a))
