A bill to establish a national adoption information exchange system.

Authorizes the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare to provide information, utilizing computers and modern data processing methods, through a national adoption information exchange system, to assist in the placement of children, awaiting adoption and in the location of children, including cooperative efforts with any similar programs operated by or within foreign countries, and such other related activities as would futher or facilitate adoptions.

Authorizes to be appropriated $1,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1973, and such sums as may be necessary for succeeding fiscal years, to carry out the provisions of this Act.
