Establishes a program, under the National Science Foundation Act, to advance earthquake research, including ground and soil analyses, criteria of earthquake resistant construction, methods of assessing risks, and development of necessary instruments.
Provides that the National Science Foundation shall report to the President and Congress, and make their research available to various State and Federal agencies. Authorizes an appropriation of $10,000,000 annually for fiscal years 1974-1976 to carry out the purposes of this Act.
