A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide for the coverage of certain drugs under the insurance system established by part A of such title.

Provides, under title XVIII (Health Insurance for the Aged) of the Social Security Act, that qualified drugs requiring a physician's prescription or certification shall be included among the items and service covered under the hospital insurance program at a specified amount of payment.

Establishes, within the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, an Expert Committee on Drug Coverage to advise the Secretary on matters of general policy in the administration of this program.
