A bill to provide for the appointment of several officials of the Congress by the Speaker of the House of Representatives or the President pro tempore of the Senate.

Provides for the appointment of the following officials of the Congress alternately by the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President pro tempore of the Senate: the Public Printer, the Librarian of Congress, the Comptroller General, the Deputy Comptroller General, and the Architect of the Capitol.
