A resolution appointing a committee to attend the funeral of the Honorable John P. Saylor, of Pennsylvania.

Declares that the House has heard with profound sorrow of the death of the Honorable John P. Saylor, a Representative from the State of Pennsylvania.

Directs a committee be appointed consisting of forty-four Members of the House, with such Members of the Senate as may be joined.

Directs the Sergeant at Arms of the House to take such steps as may be necessary for carrying out the provisions of these resolutions and that the necessary expenses in connection therewith be paid out of the contingent fund of the House.

Directs the Clerk to communicate these resolutions to the Senate and to transmit a copy thereof to the family of the deceased.

Declares that as a further mark of respect the House do now adjourn.
