Resolution providing for the consideration of S. J. Res. 247. Joint resolution authorizing the President to suspend, in the case of Turkey, the application of the provisions of section 505 (d) of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 and section 3 (c) of the Foreign Military Sales Act.

Provides that upon the adoption of this resolution it shall be in order in the House to consider the joint resolution (S.J.Res 247) authorizing the President to suspend, in the case of Turkey, the application of the provisions of section 505(d) of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 and section 3(c) of the Foreign Military Sales Act.

States that after general debate the previous question shall be considered as ordered on the joint resolution to final passage without intervening motion except one motion to recommit.
