A bill to amend the Communications Act of 1934, to extend certain authorizations for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and for certain construction grants for noncommercial educational television and radio broadcasting facilities, and for other purposes.

Extends authorizations for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting in the amounts of $50,000,000 for fiscal year 1974, and $60,000,000 for fiscal year 1975. Authorizes $25,000,000 for fiscal year 1974 and $30,000,000 for fiscal year 1975 for construction grants for noncommercial educational television and radio broadcasting facilities.

Requires every licensee of a broadcast station which receives assistance under this Act to make audio recordings of each broadcast of a program in which issues of public importance are discussed, and to maintain such recordings for a period of sixty days from the time such program is broadcast.
