Establishes a Veterans' Administration Task Force to advise and assist in, and to coordinate, all programs pertaining to veterans of the Vietnam era.
Provides that such Task Force shall: (1) promote efforts to publicize the skills of veterans and help them obtain employment; (2) encourage government departments in incorporating relevant military experience into apprenticeship programs; (3) help augment military learning with civilian job training; (4) develop programs in business to use the skills of veterans; (5) develop educational programs for veterans; (6) assist in the leasing of the "Guide to the Evaluation of Education Experience in the Armed Forces"; (7) encourage employer-employee programs which give recognition to the experience of military training; (8) promote medical training for veterans; (9) give assistance to programs for the disabled veteran; (10) disseminate information on programs to all Vietnam era veterans; and (11) perform such other duties as the Administrator of Veterans' Affairs may assign to the Task Force that are consistent with this Act.
Establishes an Advisory Committee appointed by the Administrator who shall consult with the Task Force concerning its functions under this Act.
Authorizes for each fiscal year sums not to exceed $3,000,000 to carry out this Act. (Adds 10 U.S.C. 4301-05)
