A bill to amend title 5, United States Code, with respect to the relocation expenses of employees transferred or reemployed.

Provides that for purposes of the provision authorizing the payment of a transferred Federal employee's expenses for the sale of an old residence and purchase of a new home, the old and new official duty stations of the employee shall be determined without regard to one or more intervening posts of duty in a combat zone if the employee volunteers to serve at such intervening posts and if his aggregate service at such intervening posts does not exceed eighteen months.
