A bill to amend the Par Value Modification Act, and to amend the Gold Reserve Act of 1934 to permit U.S. citizens to buy, hold, sell, and otherwise deal with gold.

Authorizes the Secretary of the Treasury to take the necessary steps to establish the par value of the dollar of $1 equals 0.828948 Special Drawing Right or, the equivalent in terms of gold, of forty-two and two-ninths dollars per fine troy ounce of gold. Permits United States citizens to buy, hold, sell, and otherwise deal with gold.
