A bill to amend the State and Local Fiscal Assistance Act of 1972 with regard to the definition of "township".

Provides that the government of a township which has no unit of local government (other than itself) located within it shall be treated neither as a county government nor a township government for purposes of the State and Local Fiscal Assistance Act of 1972. (Amends 31 U.S.C. 1227)
