A bill to establish a national program to provide income supplements to every family in need thereof.
National Living Income Program Act - Provides that every family unit may elect to receive an income supplement in an amount determined under this Act. Requires the Bureau of Labor Statistics to report to the Congress, no less than every five years, those levels of annual family income which would ensure family units a minimum adequate standard of living, consistent with the national standard of living.
Requires the Bureau of Labor Statistics to compile and price separate annual family budgets for each type of living situation which it determines requires substantially different goods and services for a minimum adequate standard of living.
Provides for the determination of the supplements provided under this Act. Provides for the methods of administration of this Act.
