A bill to amend the Coastal Zone Management Act of 1972 for the purpose of determining the causes and means of preventing shoreline erosion.

Directs the Secretary of Commerce, under the Coastal Zone Management Act of 1972, to carry out investigations of the Great Lakes commencing with the investigation of Lake Michigan, for purposes of determining the causes and means of preventing shoreline erosion. Authorizes the appropriation of up to $5,000,000 for the purpose of this Act.
