A bill to amend title 28, Judiciary and Judicial Procedure, of the United States Code, to provide for the aggregation of claims in the determination of the jurisdictional amount in controversy.

States that for the purpose of determining jurisdiction of a class action suit brought in the Federal courts of the United States according to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, the aggregate claim for or against the entire class shall be regarded as the amount in controversy.
