A bill to amend the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 to provide protection thereunder against losses resulting from earthquakes and earthslides.

Declares it to be Congresses intent under the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 to provide protection against losses resulting from earthquakes and earthslides. Requires the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development to make earthquake insurance available only in those states or areas which he has determined have evidenced a positive interest in securing earthquake insurance coverage under the program.
