A bill to amend the Gun Control Act of 1968 to provide that certain records of the sale or delivery of firearms and ammunition shall be maintained for a period of only 1 year and shall thereafter be destroyed.

Provides that, under the Gun Control Act of 1968, records of the sale or delivery of firearms and ammunition to any person other than a licensed importer, manufacturer, dealer, or collector shall be maintained for a period of only one year and shall thereafter be destroyed. (Amends 18 U.S.C. 923(g))
