Provides that whoever: (1) uses a firearm to commit a felony with respect to which courts of the United States have original and exclusive jurisdiction; or (2) uses a firearm transported in interstate or foreign commerce during the commission of any crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year and is convicted of such crime by a State court, shall, in addition to the punishment provided for the commission of such felony or crime, be sentenced to a term of imprisonment for not less than two years, nor more than five years. States that upon a second or subsequent conviction under this Act such person shall be imprisoned for not less than five years, or to life imprisonment.
Provides that such term of imprisonment shall not run concurrently with any term of imprisonment imposed for the commission of such felony or crime. (Amends 18 U.S.C. 924(c))
