A bill to amend title 38, United States Code, to authorize the Administrator of Veterans' Affairs to contract with private facilities near the homes of veterans for the medical care and treatment of veterans, and for other purposes.

Authorizes the Administrator of Veterans' Affairs to contract with private facilities near the homes of veterans for the medical care and treatment of veterans, if such care would result in a cost to the Government equal to or less than the cost of providing for such care in a facility over which the Administrator has direct and exclusive jurisdiction.
