A bill to provide for computation of pay of members of the armed services retired for permanent disability sustained in line of duty, or for years of service.

Provides that the pay of any member of former member of the Armed Services who was retired or granted retired pay on or before October 1, 1949, or thereafter, by reason of permanent disability sustained by him in line of duty, or for years of service, shall be based on the January 1, l97l, active duty basic pay to which he would be entitled if he were on active duty in his retired grade.
