Clear Glass Container Act - States as a finding of the Congress the existence of a specific danger by bodily harm to those who attempt to sort by color glass containers for recycling. Prohibits the manufacture for sale or introduction into interstate commerce of containers of glass unless such container is returnable, or made of clear glass meeting regulation standards prescribed by the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, or is determined by the Administrator to be made of a colored glass necessary to protect its contents.
Defines terms used in this Act. Provides for penalties for violations of this Act of a fine of not more than $1,000 or imprisonment for not more than six months, or both.
