Presents the Congressional finding that it is in the best interest of the consumer and the Nation that the Federal Power Commission cease the regulation of the price of natural gas.
Exempts persons engaged in the production or gathering and sale but not in the transmission of natural gas from the rates and charges established for natural gas companies by the Federal Power Commission. (Amends 15 U.S.C. 717a(6), 717c(a), 717d(a))
