A bill to amend the act providing an exemption from the antitrust laws with respect to local blackouts of certain professional sports events in order to terminate such exemption when a home game is sold out, and to prohibit blackouts by stations more than 50 miles from the site of the event.

Provides that the exemption from antitrust laws extended to agreements covering the telecasting of professional football, baseball, basketball and hockey games shall terminate when a home game is sold out forty-eight hours before the scheduled beginning time of such game.

Prohibits blackouts by stations more than 50 miles from the site of the event. (Amends 15 U.S.C. 1292)
