A bill to provide for the arrest of, and to prescribe penalties for, violators of certain laws and regulations relating to the public lands of the United States.

Imposes upon any person who violates any law of the United States, or regulation adopted under any such law, relating to the protection or use of the public lands administered by the Secretary of the Interior through the Bureau of Land Management or the National Park Service, or administered by the Secretary of Agriculture through the Forest Service, a fine of not more than $500, or imprisonment for not longer than six months, or both.

Allows members of the United States Park Police, National Park Service rangers, and such other employees of the National Park Service and the Bureau of Land Management as the Secretary of the Interior may designate, and employees of the Forest Service designated by the Secretary of Agriculture, to carry firearms while on duty, make arrests without warrant for any felony or misdemeanor committed in their presence or view, or for any felony that in fact has been or is being committed, where they have reasonable grounds to believe that the person to be arrested has committed or is committing such felony and when any such violation occurs within any area of the national park system, or lands administered as a part of the national forest system, or on any other lands administered by the Secretary of the Interior through the Bureau of Land Management.
