A bill to amend the Federal-State Extended Unemployment Compensation Act of 1970 to permit Federal Sharing of the cost of unemployment benefits which extend for 52 weeks.

Increases the Federal share of the cost of unemployment benefits under the Federal-State Unemployment Compensation Act of 1970, which benefits shall be not less than whichever of the following is the least: (1) the total amount of regular compensation payable to an employee under State law for extended unemployment compensation; (2) twenty-six times the employee's average weekly benefit amount; or (3) fifty-two times an employee's average weekly benefit amount, reduced by the regular compensation paid to him during the benefit year under State law.
