A bill to permit public school teachers (and other public school employees) who do not have coverage pursuant to State agreement under the Federal old-age survivors and disability insurance system to elect coverage under such system as self-employed individuals.

Permits public school teachers and other public school employees who do not have coverage pursuant to State agreement under the Federal old-age, survivors, and disability insurance provisions of the Social Security Act to elect coverage under such Act as self-employed individuals.
