A bill to amend title 5, United States Code, to provide that officials and employees subject to certain pay limitations, or with respect to whom pay recommendations under section 225 of the Federal Salary Act of 1967 are disapproved shall be credited, for civil service retirement purposes, with the pay which would be received if such pay limitations were not applicable.

Provides that Federal employees whose basic pay is frozen shall be credited, for civil service retirement purposes, with the pay which would be received if the pay limitations were not in effect. Makes this Act effective January 1, 1973, and requires the employee to deposit the additional amount which would have been deducted from his pay, in order to receive the full annuity.
