A bill to modify labeling and packaging requirements for colored oleomargarine or colored margarine under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.

Modifies the labeling and packaging requirements on intrastate sales of colored oleomargarine by: (1) deleting the requirements that the word "oleomargarine" or "margarine" be in type or lettering at least as large as any other type or lettering on the label; and (2) deleting the requirement that each part of the contents of the package be contained in a wrapper which bears the word "olemargarine" or "margarine" in 20-point type and substituting the requirement that each part of the contents be in a separate wrapper.
