A bill to amend the District of Columbia Air Pollution Control Act to increase the penalties for violation of regulations to protect and improve air quality in the District of Columbia.

States that any person who violates any regulation to control emissions in the District of Columbia of substances into the atmosphere or to protect and improve air quality in the District of Columbia, shall be fined not more than $10,000, or imprisoned for no longer than one year, or both. Provides that where such violation is a continuing one, each day of such violation shall constitute a separate offense.
