A bill to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 to extend and liberalize the amortization provisions for pollution control facilities.

Allows the amortization deduction over 36 months for certified pollution control expenditures.

Defines such expenditures for purposes of this Act.

Prohibits the amortization of such expenditures if the pollution treatment recovers wastes for profit.
