A bill to amend Public Law 93-276 to increase the authorization for appropriations to the Atomic Energy Commission in accordance with section 261 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
Increases the authorizations of appropriations to the Atomic Energy Commission (1) from $2,551,533,000 to $2,580,733,000 for operating expenses, and (2) from $208,850,000 to $224,900,000 for capital equipment (not related to construction).
Requires that $23,000,000 of such authorized sums be for the Safeguard Program.
